Initial Location Capture

The initial geographical location (latitude and longitude) of a record is logged at a specific point in the workflow to ensure accurate spatial context:

On both Android and iOS devices, your location is logged the moment you tap the Record Creation button.

Manually Adjusting Record Location

If the automatically captured location is inaccurate or if you need to place the record at a different spot on the map, you can manually modify the location within the record editor.

Follow these steps to manually set the location:

  1. Open the Location Editor: From the Record Edit screen, look for and tap the locate icon to open the location editor.

  2. Set the New Location: Drag the map so that the crosshairs are positioned directly over the spot where you want to mark the location.

  3. Confirm the New Location: Tap the Done button in the top bar to save and apply the new, manually set location to the record.
