Record Editor Views
After the records have been created, you can access and edit them at any time. The Fulcrum iOS app provides two primary views for locating and managing your records: the Map View and the List View.
Switching Between Views
You can toggle between the Map View and the List View using the dedicated view button located on the left side of the lower menu bar.
The icon displayed on the button (either a list icon or a map icon) represents the opposite of the view you are currently in.
Map View
The Map View uses location data to display your records spatially.
To locate a record in this view:
Use two fingers to zoom in and out on the map and one finger to pan across the map area.
Tap on a record marker to display its title.
Tap on the Record to navigate directly to the Record Editor.
List view
The iOS list view page displays all accessible records in a scrolling list format.
To locate a record in this view:
Scroll through the list or use the search box to find a specific record.
Tap on the desired Record entry to open the Record Editor page.
Filtering and Sorting Records
The iOS app includes several options to filter and sort your list of records.
Filtering Options
In addition to the standard Filter and Search options in the lower menu bar, the List View provides two special filtering tools at the top of the screen:
Option | Function |
Map Area | Filters the List View to display only those Records that are currently visible within the geographical area displayed on the Map View. This allows you to visually select and view only a specific group of records. |
All Records | Displays every record that you have access to within the organisation. |
Sorting Options
By default, the List View sorts your records by the updated-at timestamp (the time of the last modification).
To change this sorting criteria, navigate to the settings page by tapping the Settings icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of the Home page.
