When Fulcrum Support is troubleshooting an issue on your account, they may ask you to send a database export from your Android device. This article walks you through generating the file and sharing it with Support.
Exporting Your App Database
Open the Fulcrum app and tap Settings.
Scroll and Tap Tools & Utilities. Under Database Export, tap EXPORT DATABASE.
In the Export local database? dialog, tap EXPORT (DATA ONLY).
NOTE: If your issue is related to media (such as photos or attachments not syncing or displaying correctly), tap EXPORT (DATA+MEDIA) instead. This includes media files in the export, which can help Support diagnose media-specific issues.
This export can take several minutes, and can produce a large file. Do not close the app or let your screen lock while it's in progress.
Once the export finishes, a share menu opens automatically. Tap My Files to save the file to your device, or choose another app to send it directly. Show Image
Make a note of where you saved this file, since you'll need it later. You can rename the file if you'd like.
Sending the Export to Support
Once you've saved the export, send it to your Fulcrum Support representative by email or chat.
If the file is too large to send by email or chat, you have two alternatives: create a Fulcrum app with an attachment field and upload the file there, or upload the file to a service like Google Drive or OneDrive and share the link with Support.
Notes
Let your Fulcrum Support representative know once you've sent the file so they can review it and continue the investigation.
If any step fails or a file won't save or send, confirm your device has an active internet connection and try again.
