Sharing an App Template
Sharing an app template is useful when you want to show a first draft to a colleague, collaborate on the app structure, or distribute a proven form to other Fulcrum organizations.

Steps to Share an App Template
Navigate to the Apps page in the Fulcrum web app.
Locate the app you wish to share and click the more options icon (three vertical dots) next to the app's name.
From the dropdown menu, select Share Template.
In the prompt that appears, type the email address of the person you want to send the template to.
The recipient will receive an email containing a special link. Clicking this link will automatically add the app template to their Fulcrum plan.
Note
Sharing app templates only shares the app structure, not the data you’ve collected with your app.
If you need to share the data along with the structure, you must export the data separately using the Exporter tool and provide the recipient with the produced ZIP file. They can then import the data into the app that has been added to their plan.
App templates are region-specific and can only be imported into an organization located in the same geographic region (e.g., US Instance to US Instance). If you need to import the template into another instance, you must follow the steps to export and import the app template instead.
