Fulcrum offers two methods for exporting your data: the Data Downloader and the Exporter. The Data Downloader provides advanced filtering and full geometry support, while the Exporter offers a streamlined workflow for general data needs.
Permissions Required: Your ability to export data depends on your assigned System Role or Custom Role. If you do not see export options, contact your plan administrator.
Data Downloader
Use the Data Downloader to retrieve data for any App. This tool generates an export file containing only your specified filtered data. This option works best if you need to include line or polygon geometry, omit specific columns, or apply complex Record filters.
β
The Data Downloader is limited to a maximum file size of 10GB and/or 100,000 media files.
Data Downloader Formats
Export your data into the following format types:
Spreadsheet: CSV (.csv), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
Spatial: KML (.kml), GeoJSON (.geojson), GeoPackage (.gpkg), GeoDatabase (.gdb)
Database: SQLite (.db), SpatiaLite (.db), PostgreSQL(.sql)

Exporter
The Exporter is an all-inclusive tool for general exports. While it offers fewer filtering options and limited support for lines and polygons, it is the fastest way to pull full App history.
β
Access the Exporter in three ways:
Side Navigation: Select the Exports menu to view your history or start a new request.
App List: Click the Download Icon next to a specific App to initiate an export automatically.
Page Header: Click the "+" sign dropdown and select Export.
β
The main exporter has some additional customizable settings like exporting full history, including the Raw GPS data, and the ability to export the photos.
In the App List view, the Export button only appears for Apps that contain existing Records.
Exporter Data Formats
The Exporter supports the following format types:
Standard: CSV(.csv), Excel(.xlsx), Esri Shapefile (.shp), Esri File Geodatabase (.gdb)
Web/Spatial: KML(.kml), GeoJSON(.geojson), SQLite(.sqllite), SpatiaLite(.sqllite), PostgreSQL(.sql)
