Understanding the navigation pane

What the navigation pane is and how to display or collapse the pane.

Along the left side of the web app is a pane that displays the various pages of the Fulcrum web app. This panel features a platform section and a settings section. The page you are currently on will be highlighted in red.

Click on Menu icon  to collapse the pane

This pane can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the menu icon to the right of the Fulcrum logo.

Click on the menu icon on the right side of Fulcrum to collapse the pane.

Sections on the navigation pane

Here is an overview of the different sections that compose the navigation pane. Please consider that accessibility to these sections depends on your role permissions.

Dashboard View a high-level overview of your organization's activity, including inspection health, progress, and the status of issues and tasks.

Issues & Tasks Access Intelligent Team Automation features to manage assigned work and track reported issues in the field.

Apps View and manage the complete list of data collection apps your user account has access to, ordered by recent activity.

Imports & Exports Access tools to import existing data into your apps or export collected records and media in various formats.

Projects Create and manage projects to categorize records and control user access to specific subsets of data.

Map Layers Upload and manage custom map layers—such as MBTiles, WMS, and ArcGIS Feature Services—to provide visual context for field data collection.

Choice Lists & Classification Sets Define reusable lists of options and hierarchical schemas to standardize data entry across multiple apps.

Member Profile Update your personal user account details, including your name, email address, time zone, and password.

Organization Profile Configure top-level organization details such as the plan name, contact address, and organization branding.

Billing Manage your subscription plan, update payment methods, adjust media storage limits, and view your invoice history.

Groups manage member access to apps, projects, and map layers efficiently by organizing users into groups.

Members Add or remove users from your organization and configure their individual roles and permissions.

Roles: Define custom roles with specific granular permissions to control user access and capabilities within the system.

API & Webhooks Manage API tokens for custom integrations and configure webhooks to receive real-time push notifications of data events.

Audit Logs Review and export a comprehensive history of user activities, including record changes, exports, and system modifications.
