Overview

Hiding a linked app streamlines the mobile dashboard by removing reference data (lookup tables) from the main app selector while keeping it accessible through Record Link fields. This is ideal for field users who only need to interact with specific data via linked records.

Prerequisites

  • Manager or Owner system roles are required to access the App Designer.

Steps to Hide an App

  1. Navigate to the Fulcrum homepage.

  2. Open the App Designer for the specific app you wish to hide.

  3. Select the ADVANCED button located on the right side of the editor.

  4. In the Advanced Settings modal, check the Hidden on Dashboard box.

  5. Click Save.

When this setting is enabled, the app data still downloads to the mobile device for offline use but remains hidden from the main selector.

The ADVANCED button is highlighted with a arrow in the right-hand Settings sidebar of the Fulcrum App Designer.
