This article is all about how to configure and roll out Intelligent Team Automation (Issues and Tasks) in a way that works best for your teams so that the right people in your organization have access to this functionality.
Permissions
There are two permissions available for organizations with Issues and Tasks:
Access to Issues & Tasks: when added to a role, this permission grants users the ability to create and interact with Issue and Task records. (All standard roles include this permission by default.)
Configure Issues and Tasks: when added to a role, this permission grants users the ability to add and modify configuration options for Issues and Tasks (such as types and default assigned checklists).
You will need to have our Intelligent Team Automation (Issues and Tasks) feature set enabled to use this workflow! If you do not see Issues and Tasks in Fulcrum, please reach out to our support team via the little red chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this window to learn more about this new functionality and to have them enable it. It is included with your existing subscription.
At the time we enable Intelligent Team Automation (Issues and Tasks):
The system roles in your org will be updated to include the new “Access to Issues & Tasks” permission. Custom roles will not be changed.
System Manager and Owner roles will also have the “Configure Issues & Tasks” permission added.
Custom roles will not automatically have these permissions. You will need to add the "Access to Issues & Tasks" permission for any custom roles that need access to these features.
