We're excited to announce early access of a powerful new feature: Insights. This AI chat interface is designed to help you get answers from your app data instantly, just by asking questions.

Insights is now in Beta, and as we continue to refine this experience, your real-world usage and feedback are essential to making it a perfect fit for your workflow.

What is Insights?

Insights is an intelligent chat assistant that allows you to interact with your Fulcrum data using natural language. It enables you to get answers instantly without needing technical expertise in data extraction, SQL, or complex reporting tools.

With Insights, you can:

  • Query Across Multiple Apps: Connect up to five apps at once to identify trends and high-level summaries.

  • Generate Visual "Artifacts": Ask Insights to visualize your data as charts, maps, or tables. These are displayed in a dedicated side panel that can be expanded for a clearer view.

  • Access Conversation History: Your past chats and generated artifacts are automatically saved, allowing you to pick up where you left off or reference previous findings.

  • Audit and Streamline QA/QC: Easily flag data inconsistencies, monitor current workloads, or identify outliers just by asking.


Requesting Early Access

We are currently in the Beta phase of development. During this period, we are inviting users to register and help us fine-tune the experience before our general release.

How to Sign Up

  • In-App Announcement: When the Beta launches, you will see an announcement inside Fulcrum containing a direct link to the registration form.

  • Email Request: If you previously dismissed the announcement or cannot find the link, please email our team at [email protected] to request access.

What to Expect in Beta

As we move toward General Availability (GA), keep the following Beta-specific details in mind:

  • Plan Eligibility: The Beta is currently available to all users across all plans. Please note that once Insights reaches General Availability (GA), access will be restricted to Elite and Enterprise plans.

  • Usage Limits: While in Beta, we are monitoring usage to ensure performance. Once Insights is generally available, accounts will have a monthly allocation of credits.

  • Permissions: Insights inherits your existing user permissions—you will only see data you are already authorized to access.

  • Data Scope: Insights currently has access to form record data. It does not yet access photos, attachments, or billing information.

  • Data Security: Your data stays within Fulcrum’s infrastructure and is never used to train our AI models.

  • Artifacts: These are currently static "snapshots" of your data. If your data changes, simply ask Insights to regenerate the chart or table.

This feature uses an LLM and may return inaccurate or unexpected results.

Accessing Insights

Insights is now a core part of the Fulcrum experience, accessible directly from the main navigation menu on the left side of your screen.

To get started:

  1. Open Insights: Click on Insights (BETA) in the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Start a New Chat: Start a new conversation by clicking the 'New Chat' button.

  3. Select Your Data: Use the app selector to choose which apps you want to query. You can connect up to five apps at once to analyze data across your organization.

  4. Start a Conversation: Type a question or request in the chat box. For example: "Show me a map of all inspections completed this week."

Providing Feedback

Your input is vital for prioritizing upcoming features enhancements. As you test the Beta, please let us know:

  • Were the answers helpful and accurate?

  • What did you want to ask but couldn't?

  • Did you encounter any bugs?
