The barcodes field type allows you to scan a barcode or QR code to retrieve or store a value automatically.

When the barcode field is tapped on a popup will display allowing you to either enter in the code manually or to click a scan button. When the scan button is clicked, the device's camera can then be used to capture the code.

Mobile App Record Search

Fulcrum also supports using the barcode scanner within the record search feature on mobile apps to filter records from the mobile application that contain the code.
