In Fulcrum you can add custom map layers to your plan. These layers will sit above the included basemap and below the record data you are viewing the map layer in. These map layers are static within Fulcrum and can not be edited while collecting data. Additionally, the data collected within an app is not added to any layers being used while you collect the data.

You can grant user account access to layers. Map layers are global and not tied to any particular app within your plan. Once a user account has been given access to a map layer they will be able to enable that layer in the map view for any app that they are using.

Map layers can be added through the homepage of the Fulcrum web app. Once added, you can edit what users can access the map layers at any time through the layers page.

The web app currently support layers in the following formats: Mapbox, Tile XYZ, GeoJSON, TileJSON, MBTiles and Tile XYZ sources.

The mobile apps currently support layers in the following formats: MBTiles and Tile XYZ sources.
